How this fuel cost and ev running-cost calculator works

A worked example
At 15 km/L and 100 per litre, a 300 km trip uses 20 L and costs 2,000 before tolls or maintenance.
Does this compare total vehicle ownership cost?
No. It compares running energy cost only. Vehicle price, finance, insurance, tyres, depreciation and charging access need separate analysis.
