Scientific calculator.
An on-screen calculator for expressions, powers, logarithms and trigonometry.
Calculation history
Type an expression or use the keypad. Press Enter to calculate. Use * for multiplication.
Your last six results will appear here.
Real-number arithmetic. % divides a value by 100. ^ means exponentiation; powers associate right to left. ANS inserts the last answer.
How this scientific calculator works
Enter a complete expression and choose degrees or radians before calculating. Parentheses control order, exponentiation precedes multiplication, and powers associate to the right. Unary minus follows exponentiation, so -2^2 equals -4.
A worked example
In degree mode, sin(30) + 2^3 equals 8.5. In radian mode, sin(pi/2) equals 1. Use 2*pi rather than implicit multiplication.
What does the percent key do?
It divides the preceding number by 100. Therefore 200*10% is 20, while 200+10% is 200.1. Factorials require whole numbers from 0 through 170.
